HIRING THE HANG TEN HOPPERS
Thank you for your interest in San Diego's premier Swing Dance performance team, The Hang Ten Hoppers!
This dance group prides itself on showcasing the Swing Era dances of the 1920s-1950s including Charleston, Lindy Hop, Balboa, Collegiate Shag, and Vernacular Jazz Routines. We will be sure to make your event a stunning success that attendees will certainly talk about! Here are just a few of the fantastic services we offer:
-
Exciting choreographed performances to a live band or DJ'd music
1920s: Charleston dressed flapper girls & dapper gents will give a glitzy & glamorous Great Gatsby feel to your event
1930s/1940s: Get ready to be transported back to the Big Band Era with vintage dresses and/or military inspired costumes
1950s: We'll have your guests "rockin' around the clock" with our energetic Jitterbug moves, poodle skirts & pompadours
1960s - current: We don't specialize in these decades but contact us with what you're looking for -
Social dance demonstration
If you just want some background dancers or are looking for something fun (and less expensive than a choreographed routine) we've got you covered -
"Taxi Dancing"
This is a great way to really get your party started! We will interact with your guests and even ask them to dance to get everyone up and movin' -
Dance lesson
A fun beginner lesson before the music starts can be a great addition to help your guests feel more comfortable bustin' a move on the dance floor
The lesson can be tailored to fit the theme/decade of your event
